Refund Policy
We want every client to be satisfied. This policy explains how refunds, deposits, and cancellations work.
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Because we provide custom, time-intensive services, this policy explains when refunds apply. It supplements the specific terms in your proposal or statement of work (“Engagement Terms”), which control where there is any conflict.
Deposits
Project work typically begins after a deposit. Because a deposit reserves our time and covers initial work (such as discovery, planning, and design), deposits are generally non-refundable once work has begun.
Project-based work
If you cancel a project after work has started, you are responsible for fees covering the work completed and any non-recoverable third-party costs incurred up to the cancellation date. Any amount paid beyond that will be refunded.
Monthly and recurring services
- Recurring services (such as automation, support, or optimization retainers) can be cancelled with the notice period stated in your Engagement Terms.
- Recurring fees already billed for the current period are generally non-refundable, but you will not be charged for future periods after cancellation.
Third-party costs
Fees paid to third-party providers (for example, domains, hosting, telephony, or software subscriptions) are subject to those providers' own refund terms and are not refundable by us.
If something goes wrong
If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us first. We will make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue. We believe most concerns can be resolved through communication, and we are committed to treating clients fairly.
How to request a refund
To request a refund or discuss a concern, email hello@launchlayerh.com with your project details. We will respond within 1 business day.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the matter directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
